Man Killed in Encino Car Accident
An man died in a car accident in Encino recently while traveling down Burbank Boulevard, according to an article on The Encino Patch. The man had just passed the intersection of Burbank Boulevard and Hayvenhurst Avenue when his car swerved suddenly, hitting a nearby SUV. The man’s car then traveled off the road and crashed into a tree, according to onlookers.
Rescue workers pulled the injured driver from the car and transported him to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, he died of his injuries not long after entering the hospital. The driver and passengers in the SUV were not injured in the Encino car crash. Police are still investigating what caused the collision and they have not said whether they have a theory as to the cause.
When a single-vehicle accident occurs, it’s easy to assume that the driver of the one car that crashed must somehow be at fault. However, this is not always the case. Defectively manufactured or installed vehicle parts can cause one-vehicle crashes that aren’t the fault of the driver. Likewise, a driver trying to react to a sudden emergency may swerve too hard or overcorrect, causing the vehicle to crash. Although these events are not the fault of the driver, it is often the driver or the driver’s family who suffer the injury or loss.
